                        Prithvi Narayan Shah was the King of Nepal from 1743 to 1775. He is considered to be the founder of modern Nepal, as he is credited with unifying the small kingdoms and principalities that existed in the region into a single, centralized state. He was a skilled military leader and his campaigns of conquest expanded the territories of Nepal. He also established a new capital at Kathmandu and developed a centralized administrative system. He also adopted a policy of isolationism which helped Nepal to maintain its independence during the colonial period. He is a very important figure in the Nepal's history and remembered as the father of Nepal.

Prithvi Narayan Shah was the king of Nepal and the founder of the modern kingdom of Nepal. He was born in 1723, and ruled from 1742 until his death in 1775. He came from the Shah dynasty and is considered the "Father of the Nation" in Nepal for his role in the country's unification. He was able to consolidate small kingdoms into a single, centralized state and is credited with laying the foundations for Nepal as it exists today.
He lead the Nepalese war against British East India Company and also campaigned against Tibet,Kathmandu,Kantipur and many more. He always emphasize on Nepal being self reliant and had great vision to strengthen the nation.
